Diary of a wimpy kid and Self Reflection
Diary of a wimpy kid are my favorite books and I strongly recommend you should read the whole series of Diary of a wimpy kid by a well known American author: Jeff Kinney,
“Diary of a Wimpy Kid is a series of fiction books written by the American author and cartoonist Jeff Kinney. All the main books are the journals of the main character, Greg Heffley. Befitting a teen’s diary, the books are filled with hand-written notes and simple drawings of Greg’s daily adventures.” – From Wikipedia.
This post is a diary of my thoughts and reflection for today 15-03-2019. I think it is worth it to share with everyone and just like my favorite “The Diary of a wimpy kid” books.

Self-reflection 1:
Why do we F E A R
The wimpy kid never writes fear in his diary. We rise above our fears by facing them, not by ignoring them. And we can do that because we are not the fear or the thought or the pain.
F E A R has two meanings:
Forget Everything And Run
Face Everything And Rise
Diary of a wimpy kid self-reflection 2:
THE CHOICE IS YOURS
The wimpy kid has made a lot of choices in his diary.
Words of encouragement. By paying kind attention to what hurts or isn’t helping, we can understand those things better. Therefore you can understand yourself better, and so trust yourself more.
- You can do it!
- Go for it!
- You kept going, even when it was hard
- You look so pleased to have done that.
- Don’t worry about it!
- You’ll do better next time.
- It could have gone worse.
- Be positive.
- Every cloud has a silver lining.
- Don’t give up.
- Practice makes a man perfect!
- You are strong and will get over it!
- Do the impossible.
- The sky is the limit.
- Give it a try!
- Stay strong!
- Great! You did it on your own.
Self-reflection 3:
Knowledge is power
Diary of a wimpy kid is a form of knowledge.
Sir Francis Bacon was the first person attributed to the phrase “Knowledge is Power’. It dates back to 1597 when he published the maxim in his book, “Meditationes Sacrae and Human Philosophy’.
Knowledge is Power, is a very meaningful and important proverb. We would be as good as animals wandering like a nomad if we did not have the power of knowledge.
Knowledge is important to gain awareness, information, and skills to progress in life. It empowers us to invent and achieve a lot in life. It is vital for the success and development of humans, communities, and nation.
There is no limit to gaining knowledge.
The more learned a person is the more capable he is to deal with situations and problems in life. Knowledge builds our confidence and self-esteem and makes us feel more powerful.
Diary of a wimpy kid self-reflection 4:
What is this life
Diary of a wimpy kid is a record of the wimpy kid’s daily life.
What is this life if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare.
No time to stand beneath the boughs
And stare as long as sheep or cows.
No time to see, when woods we pass,
Where squirrels hide their nuts in grass.
No time to see, in broad daylight,
Streams full of stars, like skies at night.
No time to turn at Beauty’s glance,
And watch her feet, how they can dance.
No time to wait till her mouth can Enrich that smile her eyes began.
A poor life this is if,
full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare.

– Lycris – I Promise by Harris J
” I promise anytime you call me
It don’t matter where I am
I’ll always be there, like you’ve been there
If you need me closer, I’ll be right over
I swear, I swear
Every time that I need you by my side
Every time I lose my way in life
You’re my circle of life, compass and guide
There behind me
And one day when the tables finally turn
And it’s me you’re depending on
I’ll put you first, hold you close
Like you taught me
I promise anytime you call me
It don’t matter where I am
I’ll always be there, like you’ve been there
If you need me closer, I’ll be right over
I swear, I swear
I promise anytime you call me
It don’t matter where I am
I’ll always care for you, go anywhere for you
If you need me closer, I’ll be right over
I swear, ooh
There are days when I just don’t want to talk
And your feelings hit a wall
But that won’t change
The love you’ve raised inside this family
Everything that I do is to make you proud
I just want to say it, and say it loud
You’re my heat when I’m cold
The place I call home, and always will be
Know that I’ll be there for you, for you
I promise anytime you call me
It don’t matter where I am
I’ll always be there, like you’ve been there
If you need me closer, I’ll be right over
I swear, I swear
I promise anytime you call me
It don’t matter where I am
I’ll always care for you, go anywhere for you
If you need me closer, I’ll be right over
I swear, ooh
Having someone to go to
Having someone to love
Having both is a blessing
That was sent from above
Oh I know that wherever I’ll go
You’ll be forever in my heart
I promise anytime you call me
It don’t matter where I am
I’ll always be there, like you’ve been there
If you need me closer, I’ll be right over
I swear, I swear
I promise anytime you call me
It don’t matter where I am
I’ll always care for you, go anywhere for you
If you need me closer, I’ll be right over
I swear, ooh ” –
